What are the things I should know or do first?

looking good is feeling good has always been on the back of my mind. Back in high school I was this super thin guy but the rides have turned and people are referring to me as a "fatso" now.

I believe it is now time to work out and shape my flabs into a desirable abs. What should I know or do before working out? What time of the day should I work out?

You should take the normal diet avoid eating junk and oily foods and do some normal exercise before doing any heavy work this will reduce your fats and weight.

Hi to all. I am working out for quite sometime now and I think I am not hitting my goal. I am now looking for a good diet that I can stick to and achieve the body that I have always wanted. Bodybuilding is really a good idea to keep your body strong and healthy. In fact, I really admire those people who were able to develop abs and with strong muscles. Well, I think it is very important that you have enough preparation for bodybuilding so that you can condition yourself. Diet is not easy specially when you start with limiting your food intake. A perfect diet must be accompanied with a regular exercise. If you go for a diet session you must bear in mind that you are dieting to have a healthy lifestyle and not for the reason of getting slim. Because if you're main reason is loosing weight to have a good looking body then you're life may at risk. Remember a good looking body must be a healthy one inside and out.

Hi, you can try following this diet:

1. Meal one- oatmeal, 2-3 eggs vitamin, water

2. Meal two-protein shake, (not whey), banana or apple

3. Meal three- potato salad, 1 yogurt, milk

4. Meal four-protein bar, creatine

5. Meal five-nuts (almonds), creatine

6. Meal six- chicken breast/turkey breast/ beef eye of round, rice packet or pasta without sauce whole wheat bread, salad/ green beans/ broccoli.

7. Meal seven- protein shakes 3 scoops, milk and banana

Things to know first: One should have a combo of exercise consisting of cardio and weight training. You must also ensure having healthy food items, vegetables, rich protein based food and good carbs. You must avoid oily, fatty and high sugary items. You must try to replace junk food with healthy food for example replace sweets with fruits.
