I couldn't believe that people would actually eat raw food so I looked it up on the internet. Come to find out the raw food diet consists of eating unprocessed and uncooked plant foods. I am wondering if this diet works good in losing weight. If anyone has tried this diet let me know how it works. Comment #1 Martin from Lawrence, Kansas (Contact Member) - it is the diet of the animal kingdom (including for some animals, raw meat). It was the diet for man until not that many years ago! Comment #2 Ellen (76.109.208.85) - You should check out the Hippocrates Health Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. It's been around for over 50 years and helped countless people regain health through the raw and living foods lifestyle! Comment #3 Onnah (63.176.159.17) - Eating raw meat? Yeah it would definitely control your eating habit because yo will just vomit them out. Fish is usually eaten raw by the Japanese which I also don't prefer but eating raw meat is a bit too sick for me to handle. The difference between man and animal is that man has an intelligence, free will and better judgment that animals don't. Eating raw is not just levels you down to the level of animals but would also have some negative effects on your health because there are certain bacteria in raw meat that only be removed through cooking them. Comment #4 Martin from Lawrence, Kansas (Contact Member) - Most who talk about a raw food diet don't include meat in their diet. That goes for most animals too... look at all the raw non-meating animals that are much stronger than you and I... Comment #5 Laygu (63.176.159.129) - Yeah right..here we go again with the fighting and throwing of words.. Here just try this at your kitchen, I love this raw food Comment #6 Martin from Lawrence, Kansas (Contact Member) - "1 cup any preferred Dressing" ahahaha why add some processed, likely sugared and chemicaled dressing to your raw cabbage? If you need a dressing, make something simple and natural. Comment #7 Francis Co (63.176.159.57) - I've read the previous posts under this topic and can't help[ but to laugh at other people's "slowness" and failure to easily pick up things. How can you actually eat raw pork or raw chicken. Please bring your common sense when participating in forum discussions like this. What they say about raw food is usually vegetables or that of belong to the animal kingdom, or fish meat which can usually be cooked using merely vinegar. Comment #8 pale-o from around the world (63.176.159.106) - I bet you can only eat raw food when being dared or when participating in 'Fear Factor'. I kind of agree that food free of red meat is indeed healthy so concentrate more on fish and chicken. Francis I would not be surprised that you were also slow when you herad of the term because the mind is used interepretin things using what is stored in memory. How about finding another term for such kinds of food? Comment #9 vin vin (63.176.159.174) - I got my mind mixed up whenever I read a post by pale-o.. His words are out of sync that I cant understand what he is saying..geezz.. Comment #10 Miles (63.176.159.147) - Ever hear about "Tartar steak"? Man, thatīs raw meat and itīs good too. The problem with raw meat is the "bugs" it can carry. Once an animal dies decomposition sets in immediately, so the raw meat you eat is decomposing rapidly, even if frozen. I have seen dogs reject meat after smelling it, and it looked good! But they know when itīs not fit to eat. Good day! Comment #11 Aubrey (63.176.159.87) - Well I would not eat raw meat Miles.. Comment #12 Martin from Lawrence, Kansas (Contact Member) - What is wrong with you people... someone talks about a raw plant food diet and you bring up meat. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
